Catch-update: Scotland, days 1-3

As per my last post, my parents and I flew into Edinburgh on Sunday night after spending the day in London, and on Monday we drove to the Isle of Skye, where we stayed for two nights at Sconser Lodge (a cute B&B in the tiny town of Sconser on the east side of the island) and two nights at the Flodigarry Hotel a bit farther north. Here are some photos (and video!) from the drive to Skye and our time in and around Sconser:

On the drive to Skye, we "just happened" to pass by Dalwhinnie distillery...couldn't pass up the opportunity for the tour (with a wee taste of their 15 year old and a chocolate truffle included). Photo credit: random lady on the tour.

We did get a good view of the very pretty "Fairy Pools." Photo credit: Mom.

On the way back, we were so close to the Talisker distillery that we decided to stop by...but the last tour had just gone out. Photo credit: Mom.
