Words and friends, Part II

See Part I for context.

Pictures from Saturday’s adventures:

We realized that a certain graduate hostel was the home of R.C. Punnett, "the Punnett squares guy." Pretty neat!

Elise enjoys a real taste of England: a traditional pasty from the Pie and Cheese Man in Market Square.

We tried to go to the Whipple Museum of the History of Science, housed here, but it's closed on weekends. Darn.

We did make it to the Earth Sciences Museum, which was AWESOME.

One bowl of awesome, coming right up!
Delicious dinner from chicken, butternut squash, and potato leftovers: Moroccan-inspired stew!

We also went to a pretty decent student-performed-and-conducted concert at Jesus College, featuring Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” and selections from Sibelius’ incidental music for Pelleas et Melisandre. No pictures, though; dimly-lit chapels aren’t terribly photogenic.

See Part III for photos from Sunday and Monday! (They’re even more exciting, I promise!)
